Bengali martial artist Tota Roy Chowdhury has roped in to play a pivotal character upcoming film ‘Indu Sarkar’, the film directed by Bollywood’s critically acclaimed director-producer, Madhur Bhandarkar, a movie set in the backdrop a 21-month long emergency period from 1975 to 197, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had a state of emergency declared across the country.
This is not the first time that Roy Chowdhury is working in a Bollywood film. In A.R. Murugadoss’ Katthi, he played a cameo against Tamil star Vijay. “Released on October 22 last year, Katthi had the highest opening in all the four South languages.
The ‘Ahalya’ actor has significant character in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahani 2’ is an upcoming 2016 Indian Suspense thriller film features Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. It is not a sequel of the 2012 film Kahaani which is scheduled for release on 2 December 2016.
