She can’t work 24×7, neither does she feel the need to network, as she feels her work should speak for her. And yes, she also denies dating Mainak Bhaumik. How was 2016 for you?
Great! I had few great releases and I shot for Anjan Dutt’s The Bongs Again, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s Doob: No Bed Of Roses and Sumon Mukhopadhyay’s Chokher Bali. So, can’t complain, can I? (Smiles) I’m happy the way my career is shaping up. And on top of that, I bought a new house for my mother!

I never had an issue with that, as I don’t take up anything and everything that comes my way . But I was never out of work, as I did have releases. To tell you the truth, I’m too lazy to work 24×7. I need space to be on my own, spend time with my family and friends, read books, cook, enjoy music and so on. I was also busy doing up my new house. So, I was never jobless.Moreover, I am too choosy when it comes to work, as I believe that an actor should have a good filmography rather than just playing roles. To me, quality is more important.
