The International Day for Street Children is marked on 12th April 2012 to give a voice to some of the most disadvantaged and invisible children of this world. It aims to raise awareness and recognition of this worldwide issue and put pressure on policy makers to create an environment in which street children’s rights are realised and their voices are heard.
