½ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari sauce
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp minced fresh ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼-½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp sesame oil
2 cups sliced yellow onion (approx. 1 medium onion)
1 cup grated carrots (if stir fry veggies doesn’t include carrots)
1 lb bag frozen stir fry vegetables
1 green onions cut on the bias (optional)
bean sprouts (optional)
2/3 cup cashews (optional)
