Every year Bengal witnesses big releases during Durga Puja. This year, already six films have lined up for hitting the screen during the biggest festival.
It’s a great high if his or her film releases during Puja of Bongs among them National Award winning filmmaker Anjan Dutt’s ‘Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana’ is a notable one.
This one is Anjan Dutt’s fifth installment of Byomkesh Bakshi franchise series. Based on Saradindu Bandyopadhyay’s thriller novel ‘Chiriyakhana’ the film revolves around a farm house where Jisshu Sengupta is going to reprise the role of Bengal’s legendary fictional sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi.
If the rumors are to be believed THAT s another film,is now gearing up to direct an English-Bengali bilingual titled ‘The Bongs Again’ featuring Parno Mittra, Jisshu Sengupta and Soumitra Chatterjee might release at the same time. An eminent journalist took to his Twitter profile to share the news.

“It is about the journey of a woman who travels the world to transcend language, caste and creed barriers,” reveals Anjan who starts shooting in May.
However, there is no official confirmation yet. Jisshu Sengupta plays the lead in both of Dutt’s upcoming movies. I’m so happy that the film has been appreciated by all and is doing good business.
