India has produced several biographical films based on shinning sports stars of our country. Some of the films that deserve special mention are Mary Kom (based on boxer Mary Kom), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (based on athlete Milkha Singh) and Paan Singh Tomar (based on athlete Paan Singh Tomar).
Now, people are eagerly waiting for the release of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, is an upcoming biographical film based on the life of Indian cricketer and the current ODI and T20I captain of the Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Another film for which people are eagerly waiting is ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’, based on the life of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, which stars Sachin Tendulkar as himself. We were wondering why not a biopic on the iconic captain, the role model, the prince of Calcutta Sourav Ganguly!
So, when Tellychakkar.com quizzed Sourav that if a biopic is made on him which actor he would want to play his role, Sourav replied with a smile, “I don’t know. I haven’t thought about it.” “Right now I am focusing on the coming Test Series,” he added.
