After receiving positive response from the audience of Bangladesh and India movie ‘Shikari’ was released in Malaysia on Sunday. This is Shakib Khan’s first movie that will be released in India. The film was released in Bangladesh on July 7 while in India on 12 August.
Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu was inaugurate the show, to be jointly organised by Jaaz Multimedia of Bangladesh and MBC Film Production of Malaysia, at the ‘Federal Cinema House. Indian as well as a large number of expatriate Bangladeshis, Nepalese and Sri Lankan nationals were present at the exhibition opening.
The Bangladesh-India joint venture action film directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and Zakir Hossain Simanto, stars Shakib Khan, Srabanti Chatterjee, Rahul Dev and Sabyasachi Chakrabarty in pivotal roles. It is an official remake of the 2009 Tamil movie Aadhavan which was itself inspired from the 1990 Malayalam movie His Highness Abdullah.
Currently, Shakib Khan is shooting for films Bossgiri and Shooter. After pairing with Srabonti in “Shikari”, Shakib Khan will be acting in his next Bangla Movie Nabab with Subhashree. The Upcoming Bengali Film made in the collaboration of India and Bangladesh, where Sakib Khan and Subhasree Ganguly is play lead in the film. The shooting of the film all ready started at Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh, the filming will be done in several spots of Bangladesh, India, and Turkey.
