Bhaijaan Salman Khan hasn’t been seen in a sports-based film before. And according to the director of Sultan, Ali Abbas Zafar, this movie would be a first of a kind for the superstar, reports timesofindia.
In an interview to a daily, Ali has reportedly said that he feels that Salman Khan had been wanting to do a film on sports because of his love for it. India (hockey) had Shah Rukh Khan, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (athletics) had Farhan Akhtar and Mary Kom (boxing) had Priyanka Chopra. And Salman would be exploring the sports genre for the first time with Sultan.
This sports-drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films banner, the film starsSalman Khan and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles and centers around Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan), a wrestler who has problems in his professional and personal life.
