Filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly’s multi-starrer thrilling love story ‘Bastushaap’ which had earned well as saw a good collection at box-office, has been selected for the Indian Panorama section of the upcoming IFFI 2016.
The movie is one among the four Bengali movies, to be screened at the festival which is set to kick-start from November 20. Other films to be showcased during the event are ‘Shankhachil’, ‘Chitrokar’ and ‘Sahaj Paather Gappo’.
One of the lead actors Abir Chatterjee, busy shooting for Kaushik’s another film themed on border now, said on twitter last night “happy proud excited#baastushaap#iffi2016#indianpanorama congrats team…”

Bastushaap is a love story, based on the concept of Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra, and revolves around five characters, who live in the same house, starring Raima Sen, Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Churni Ganguly, Kaushik Ganguly. The film is produced by Pramod Lundia, Shyam Sundar Dey of Greentouch Entertainment.
