We’ve talked about killer nurses before, Daniella Pogialli has been arrested on suspicion of killing 13 elderly patients, a nurse in Italy with murdering 13 of her patients between 2014 and 2015.
At a hospital in Piombino, a 55-year-old nurse was arrested for murdering at least 13 of her patients by administering fatal doses of a blood-thinning drug while they were in intensive care.
44-year-old Daniela Poggiali, a former nurse received a life sentence for the murder of one of the 38 patients she was suspected of having killed.
Police believe that ”the suspect, who is now in custody, may suffer from depression, but that is no excuse for the crimes she committed. All of her victims were between the ages of 61 and 88, and it’s believed that she killed them by administering lethal doses of blood thinners through IVs.”
Italian Nurse Poggiali is currently under investigation for killing patients by injecting them with high doses of potassium because she thought they or their families were annoying, according the Central European News Agency.
Alleged serial killer Daniele Poggiali has said the shocking pictures were a ‘mistake’ and were meant to be kept ‘private’ between her and the fellow female health worker she accuses of taking them.
She told the Corriere della Sera newspaper: ‘I was wrong and I recognize that. It wasn’t my idea but that of my colleague, who took the photos. Also, I never could have imagined they would be circulated.
‘It was something private between me and her. Anyhow, it was a mistake.’
