Mohammad Ayub Khan, every one known as Master Ayub, is a Pakistani educator, philanthropist and a firefighter in Pakistan, who is known for spending his after-job hours (although he’s amazing at doing that, too) and weekends teaching students in an open-air school in F6 sector, the capital city of Islamabad. He keeps them safe in a multitude of ways by empowering them with knowledge.
All firefighters are dedicated to helping people in their communities, but this man goes above and beyond the call of duty.
For the past three decades Pakistani firefighter at Fire Brigade and SIR (HERO) Mohammed Ayub has been quietly working in his spare time to give children from Islamabad’s slums an education and a better chance at life.
Master Ayub started teaching a group of four students and currently 200 students are enrolled in the school, is opens daily at noon and shuts around sunset.
All the students studying at the school are underprivileged and are being taught free of cost and is set up in a public park where students sit on the ground and the teachers can be seen teaching them with a black-board besides them. via – wikipedia.
