A giant panda has given birth to twin cubs at a breeding centre in south-west China. Kelin was in labour for two hours before giving birth to the female cubs at Chengdu in Sichuan province.

Both babies are in good health and can be seen squeaking for food in their incubator. The older sister weighs 118 grams and the younger sister 70 grams, and both of them drink about one millilitre of milk per meal.
