Celebrated director Amitabh Reza Choudhury’s debut big screen Bangladeshi drama Aynabaji, which went on to become the biggest hit film in the recent years, will be screening on the opening night of the 11th edition of Seattle South Film Festival 2016 in the United States on October 14 , which runs October 14-23.
The film stars Chanchal Chowdhury, who played as the protagonist in the film, has left the country on October 7 to attend the festival in the United States. He informed that his film ‘Aynabaji’ will be screened on the opening night of the festival on October 14 at the Seattle Art Museum.
The festival will include 23 feature films and 22 shorts from nine countries, Chanchal Chowdhury has played in the main character. Besides the actress Nabila and singer-turned-actor Partha Barua made their film debut through the film. The film was released on 30 September 2016 in Dhaka and later in Chittagong and other cities and going house-full shows for consecutive second week.
Directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and produced by Gousul Alam under the banner of Content Matters Production. The story is about Ayna, a common man with an extraordinary talent of mimicry (the title, as well as the alternative poster, is a play on the word ayna which means mirror in Bengali) who works at a local studio and lives the life of another person for as long as the contract holds.
