Believe It Or Not, Over Half Of All People In The U.S. Breathe Dangerous Pollution Air

It’s no secret that pollution is one of the Dangerous global killers. The American Lung Association’s 2016 State of the Air report claims that 52 percent of Americans live in counties with dangerous levels of particle or ozone pollution, which amounts to a staggering 166 million people.

The inhalation of polluted air, which is mainly caused by cars and factory emissions, can cause serious conditions, including chest pain, early death, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and cancer. Six of the top ten most polluted counties were in California, with Los Angeles topping the list at number one.
