Aamir Khan, the perfectionist, is making heads turn with his choice of film roles once again, will be essaying the role of astronaut Rakesh Sharma, who used a Soyuz shuttle to go into space by the joint efforts of ISRO and the Soviet Intercosmos, the first Indian to go into space in 1984.
As per reports in BollywoodLife, the Lagaan star will be reportedly spending three months in NASA to study for his role and get into character.
A source told the website, “Aamir will play Rakesh Sharma in his next film. He is all set to move from playing a pehalwan to now going out to the space.”
Meanwhile the 51-year-old actor will be seen donning the hat of a wrestler in Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial ‘Dangal’ releasing on December 23.
